Abstract: The concentration distribution of the activating substance “R” in “ZHONGHE 2000” CCCW on the interface of the set cement are measured and it is confirmed that the relocation diffusion of “R” conforms to the Fick second law by test. The waterproof mechanism of 《ZHONGHE 2000》CCCW are discussed through measuring the content of crystal water and Ca(OH)2 in set cement.

Foreword
With the enactment and implementation of the national standard《Cementitious Capillary Crystalline Waterproof material》(hereinafter referred to as CCCW) and the extensive applications of the kind of material in industrial and civil architecture at home and abroad, the prominent waterproof effect attracted worldwide attention. Meanwhile, many discussions on waterproof mechanism successively appear on magazines and newspapers.
ZHONGHE Waterproof Material Co., Ltd. brought out the same kind of product — “ZHONGHE 2000” in 2000, at the same year, it was granted as “the New National Key Products” by the State Economic and Trade Commission. It passed the appraisal of the Commission of Science Technology and Industry for National Defence of China in 2001. It was listed in the catalogue of “Export Product of China Peaceful Use of Military Industrial Technology” by the Commission of Science Technology and Industry for National Defence of China in 2003. The research and development of this kind of waterproof material is based on molecular dynamics. The eka-molecule sieve concept is introduced. The “active substances” developed by the Company itself are put in the waterproof material through the special equipment, this make the waterproof material has the eka-molecular sieve structure and capillary crystallization function. The purpose of waterproofing, air permeability and high impervious pressure are effectively realized. For the past several years, the effect of this waterproof material is prominent in the projects of military and civil architecture, such as cave depot, roads and bridges, tunnels, undergrounds, water and power water power engineering and so on.
