1 Introductions
The responsible department of Pubugou Hydropower Station Heima Belt Conveyor Tunnel project is Pubugou Hydropower Station Construction Branch Company. This branch company is a subordinate unit of Guodian Dadu River Hydropower Development Co., Ltd.. This project is designed by State Power Corporation Chengdu Reconnaissance Design Institute. It is constructed by the China Water Conservancy and Hydropower Engineering Bureau 11. It is supervised by the Project Supervision Department of Ertan Hydropower Station Construction Consulting Co., Ltd.
This hydropower station belongs to rock-fill dam type hydropower station. The hydropower station and stone pit are separated by ridge. In order to transport the gravel and soil aggregate which are used in construction of dam, a tunnel between stone pit and dam is designed. The gravel and soil aggregate are transported to dam by the belt conveyor. The project of Heima Belt Conveyor Tunnel is an important passageway for transporting the gravel and soil aggregate to the dam of Pubugou Hydropower Station. The entrance elevation of the belt conveyor tunnel is 1,250m. The exit elevation is 790m. The height of horseshoe type section is 3m. The width is 4m. The horizontal length is 4,000m. The longitudinal gradient is 11.62%. It was tunneled 3,500m or so.
