2 Recommendatory Total Usage Amount of Materials
CN2000A: Total usage amount is decided by site requirement.
CN2000B: Total usage amount: 1.6~2.0 kg/m2 (coating thickness is 1.6~2.0mm)
CN2000C&CN2000D: Total usage amount: 2 kg/m2 (coating thickness is 1.0~1.2mm)
Remarks: Actual total usage amount is determined according to project requirement.
3 Treatment for Substrate Surface
3.1 The substrate surface must be whole, solid and clean. Seeper, dust, oil stains and any dirt should be cleared and removed.
3.2 Allow at least 7 days or more curing of the concrete of last pour before the waterproof work can be carried out.
3.3 When the substrate surface has become smooth because of rolling, the surface needs to be roughened (When CN2000C&CN2000D is coated, the smooth surface needs not to be roughened).
3.4 The loose honeycomb-type concretes, blowings, joint seams and holes left over by pull rods and scaffolds must be beforehand eliminated or mended, in order to obtain better effects of application.
4.1 ZHONGHE 2000 leakage plugging material
After fully stirring and evenly mixing the CN 2000A in the container, roll CN 2000A into a stick matching chiseled hole or cuneate slot. When generating heat and hardening, the CN 2000A is tamped into the leak hole and pounded. Then smoothly plaster the surface with CN 2000B. If water pressure is very high and water flux is very big, must find out water source. After stopping leak with a wood stopper or diverting the water flux with a conduit, plug up the leakage with CN 2000A.
4.2 ZHONGHE 2000 high-efficient anticorrosion and waterproofing material (CCCW)
4.2.1 trowel coating
In case of trowel coating CN2000B, water should be sprayed on the substrate surface which should be kept in the saturated wet state. Before application, seeper should be removed from the substrate surface. Fully stir and evenly mix CN2000B to water in the container in proper ratio, using a trowel, apply coatings to the working surfaces. First apply the corners and sides, and then apply leveling surfaces. Each coating should be consistent in the direction of application, while successive coatings should be perpendicular in direction. The thickness of joint place should be even. Allow preceding coating to finally set before applying the next coating. Commonly apply at least 2 coatings to reach required thickness.
4.2.2 brush coating
A brush is used in the brush coating. Except materials ratio (weight), other methods are the same with trowel coating.
4.2.3 spray coating
A spray equipment is used in the spray coating. Except materials ratio (weight), other methods are the same with trowel coating.
4.3 ZHONGHE 2000 high-efficient elastic anticorrosion and waterproofing material
In case of trowel coating CN2000C&CN2000D, the substrate surface should be air-dried and paved by reinforcing nets at the special place. Fully stir and evenly mix CN2000D to CN2000C in the container in proper ratio. Allow preceding coating to hard dry before applying the next coating. Other methods and steps are the same with CN2000B.
5.1 When the final coating of CN2000B reaches final set, intermittently sprinkle the surface with water or cover the surface with a plastic film and allow 24 hrs for curing or coat a CN2000C&2000D coating for natural curing.
In case of using CN2000C&CN2000D, the final coating is just air-dried. It is not needed to curing.
5.2 Solarization, drencher or frost should be avoided during the curing.
5.3 For the structures of long-term storage water, waterproof coating without protective layer must be put by 7 days after the waterproof coating has been cured for 24 hrs. Then storage water can just be carried out.
6.1 The quantity of added water for mixing material must strictly be executed according to the relevant regulations to avoid more water to be added lest adverse affecting the quality of the project.
6.2 The usage amount of each mixture should not be too much, just for the use of 20~30 minutes only. If it starts to initial set, the mixed material can not be reused after adding water again.
6.3 At being mixed with water the material should be fully stirred by 5 minutes. There should be no powder nodule in it.
6.4 The environmental temperature for application is 5~35℃. The best temperature for application is 20±10℃.
6.5 In the open air application at rather high temperature, it is suggested to arrange application in the morning and evening in order to avoid the coating dries too fast that will result in hydration and landification of the materials not sufficient hence adversely affect the quality of application.
6.6 The materials are not decorative materials. If vehicles and pedestrians pass over them, protective covers are needed to be paved on them.
6.7 The final waterproof coating of CN2000B must be cured for 24 hrs and the final waterproof coating of CN2000C&CN2000D must be hard dry before carrying out the next process in order to avoid destroying the waterproof coating.
7 Standards of Quality Inspection
7.1 site quality inspection
(1) Before acceptance test, the final waterproof coating of CN2000B must be cured at an end and the final waterproof coating of CN2000C&CN2000D must be hard dry.
b The coating layer should be smooth and there should be no blank.
(2)The coating has not blowings, return powders and cracks.
(3)The coherence between a layer and another layer is tight. The joints are ladder type.
(4)Total usage amount of materials and total thickness of coatings should reach design requirements.
(5) To carry out the closed water test according to correlative national standards.
